The experience offered by Le Pawsh is continuously evolving and pushes the boundaries of what it means for pet parents to care for their dogs. Our unwavering dedication to safety, coupled with the mastery of the grooming art, cultivates a warm and inviting environment trusted by pet owners traveling from across the Bay Area, Vacaville, Sacramento, Half Moon Bay, Carmel-by-the-Sea, and beyond. At Le Pawsh, we ensure that our team members have access to everything they need to perform their absolute best in their roles and that they are in an environment that cultivates creativity. We fully understand the toll this physically demanding job can take on the body and the unique stress that often accompanies working with challenging dogs. Furthermore, we live in an unfortunate reality where there is a lack of appreciation for this significant craft, held by some pet parents.

With determination and commitment, we stand to change this perception.

Le Pawsh team members apprentice under Shelby, APG, Owner and Master Stylist, gaining essential knowledge and skills that will last a lifetime. Additionally, our team members are trained in Pet CPR, educated in dog skin and coat science, and introduced to natural and holistic methods of pet care that prioritize preventative care and the well-being of dogs. Our Stylists are also enrolled in comprehensive IPG certification programs and given continued education opportunities to keep up with the latest trends in grooming and advance their knowledge. Le Pawsh recognizes the immense effort and artistic ability required by groomers, and we strive to elevate the appreciation of this specialty across the families and communities we serve.

Our pay to our team members appropriately reflects our commitment and understanding. Furthermore, our full-time team members have access to health and dental benefits. As Le Pawsh grows, so does our ability to give back and uplift our team.

Created by a groomer, for groomers, and the love of dogs.

Applicant Requirements

  • Believes in the Le Pawsh mission and lifestyle: elevate the perception of dog grooming, parade the beauty of our canine companions, and promote healthier dogs inside and out.

  • At least one year of experience in a grooming salon setting. Though we are a quality-over-quantity salon, understanding the flow of a professional grooming salon will allow you and others to perform to the best of your abilities.

  • Ready to learn new skills, processes, and techniques. You will train under Shelby, APG, and Master Stylist, re-learning everything from the ground up. All team members are encouraged to push their knowledge and learn everything from all facets of the grooming and pet industry.

  • On-time and efficient with a schedule. Le Pawsh operates on appointments and a smooth schedule. Agency over your schedule and assisting others is required.

  • Hard-working and adaptable. No two dogs are the same; some days will be more difficult than others. Being able to adapt to the challenges and stressors of grooming is crucial.

  • Has basic social media knowledge. All team members must post photos and video content to their respective social media platforms, highlighting their work.

  • Looking to start taking their skill and craft seriously. This isn’t for those looking to take their first steps into the grooming industry. Instead, it is for those ready to challenge themselves, push their skill, and build a career. For those just starting, we are happy to assist you where possible.
