Your dog is more than ‘just a dog’ - they’re your companion, your confidant, and your family member. Our goal is to meet your love for your dog with a service that is more than ‘just grooming.’ Not only will we make your pup look fabulous, but they will also be treated with the finest products available, along with our unrivaled care and attention to detail. Each member of the dedicated and esteemed Le Pawsh team undergoes extensive training and shadowing to ensure that every pup entering our care receives the Le Pawsh treatment and leaves looking and feeling more regal than ever before. Our team is trained to identify and address skin and coat abnormalities, as well as fungal infections, and to develop a plan to improve your beloved companion's health further. Our salon schedule is structured to allow ample time with each pup, ensuring a comfortable experience throughout. In an entirely unregulated industry, Le Pawsh demonstrates dedication to health and safety by certifying all Stylists as Certified Professional Groomers through IPG and our salon is certified official AKC S.A.F.E. We're proud to be the only salon in the area that has taken these extra steps.

Holistic: Emphasizing the importance of the whole and the interdependence of its parts.
Canine health and care have shifted towards prioritizing cost-cutting and convenience. Like you, we want the best for your pup. That can only be achieved with an overall look at every aspect of their life. We believe the best way to allow our pets to thrive is with a proactive approach, taking more of their care into your hands. The Le Pawsh lifestyle is holistic, encompassing more than just grooming, and incorporates a better, fresher diet, quality exercise, and mental stimulation to keep their minds active. Though allergies and anxiety have unfortunately become a regular occurrence in our pet friends, we recommend trying alternative methods before resorting to medication and prescription diets.
We are not veterinarians and are by no means opposed to veterinarians or medicated intervention. We simply encourage you to consider fundamental lifestyle changes to set your pup up for healthy success, so your trips to the vet can be less frequent. We also encourage pet parents to consider delaying medication and try our salon, as we have observed success without medication by utilizing our methods.

We understand that time away from your pup can be taxing; however, we would like to emphasize that grooming is an intricate process performed on live animals. Ensuring their safety, well-being, and comfort are our utmost priorities. Despite our planning, occasional delays may still occur. With that said, please allow 2 to 5 hours, depending on the specific service chosen, your pup's size, and the complexity of the haircut that will be performed.
When your little one has just around thirty minutes remaining of their spa day, we'll ensure you receive a prompt notification, allowing you ample time to head over and eagerly embrace your furry companion.

We strive to be as transparent as possible with all our pricing and practices, which are outlined on our Services page. We display an estimate of our prices, categorized by service and organized by size; however, please note that several factors determine your overall cost. Firstly, due to the variances within dog breeds and coat types, we cannot offer a blanket price based on size or breed. Two dogs of the same breed and weight could have entirely different coats and coat lengths. Depending on the type and condition of your pup’s coat, we may need to apply a de-matting process. Styles that feature longer hair or more intricate scissor work will also impact the final cost. Accurate estimates will be provided during drop-off, and the final cost is determined by your Stylist. Finally, we invite all our clients to consider our unique Additions that help enhance your pup’s experience, such as our coat rejuvenation cleanser & mask, blueberry facial, or color dyes.
In-person assessments are required for an accurate price quote.

For your puppy to develop a healthy relationship with grooming, it’s crucial to familiarize them with our services at an earlier stage. They can be brought in once they’ve received their second set of puppy shots, typically between 3 and 4 months old. Puppies brought in for their first visit will receive our Bath & Tidy service, not our Bath & Haircut service. Your puppy's comfort and overall well-being are our top priority, and easing them into our care and services is our goal.
We recommend scheduling in the earlier, quieter hours, allowing your little one to adjust to the new surroundings. As more pups arrive, the gradual increase in noise helps them adapt to the environment. We also recommend establishing a regular grooming schedule from the start to help ensure your pup recognizes it as a natural part of their life. In addition to grooming, we believe in dog training, kennel training, and socialization with humans and fellow dogs. These experiences contribute to a more positive and stress-free visit to the groomer, vet, and other situations.
Training should start as soon as your pup’s paws enter your home. Go beyond basic obedience and gain a comprehensive understanding of your dog with DYAD Dog Training.

Of course! All dogs deserve a spa day, regardless of age. Our team’s gentle handling and approach ensure safety at every stage of your companion’s life. It is important to note that senior dogs, or dogs at or over the age of 10, are more prone to dryer seizures, fatigue, and stress. Grooming services can potentially worsen, exacerbate, or uncover hidden medical issues, all of which we are not liable for. Our team reserves the right to end services at any point if it is deemed a health risk to your dog. Senior dogs with health complications or those beginning to have trouble with grooming and day-to-day activities can be booked a comfort groom. This service is taken more slowly and adjusted to address the minimum requirements to keep your companion clean and comfortable.

We take the time to assess your pup's skin and coat needs, ensuring they receive the most suitable treatment possible. The Le Pawsh team is trained to examine your furry friend's skin, checking for potential issues such as dryness and irritation. Healthy coats are not only visually appealing but also indicative of good health and well-being. We have optional Additions that can be added to your pup’s service to target specific issues and abnormalities.
Those wishing to use medicated shampoo: You are welcome to bring in your pup’s shampoo and notify us of your request during drop-off. Though we commend your proactive approach, we strongly urge owners to exercise caution when using medicated shampoos, as they can dry out your pup's skin and coat. We would love to work with you and craft a plan that addresses your little one’s needs, using our methods instead.

Every pup is unique, and all owners have varying preferences. We recommend a schedule of every 4 to 6 weeks. This includes skin and coat treatments, as well as regular nail and ear maintenance. If you're unable to visit for our ‘Bath & Haircut’ service as frequently as recommended, we suggest filling the gaps with our ‘Bath & Tidy’ or ‘Bath & Brush’ services.
We offer assistance in crafting a customized grooming schedule tailored to your pup’s specific coat type, hair length, and lifestyle. Different coat types require varying levels of care, and we consider factors such as shedding patterns, matting tendencies, and specific grooming needs. Additionally, we take your lifestyle into account to ensure the schedule and timing allow for the accommodation of the required maintenance. By working closely with our clients, we aim to create a grooming routine that suits their beloved canine companion and their busy lifestyle, allowing for convenience and maintaining the dog's coat health at its best.

Anal gland expression has become a common practice in the grooming world. However, we believe this service falls outside the scope of care for any groomer and should only be performed by a veterinary technician. The grooming method of expression is an external squeezing, which can introduce health risks. We do not offer this as part of our normal services.
Le Pawsh is partnered with a registered veterinary technician to provide proper internal anal gland expression services on select Sundays. Refer to our Events page for more details.
We offer a range of other services to ensure your pup's health and hygiene. For dogs with hair growing in their ears, we offer an optional ear plucking service. Earplucking is necessary to prevent wax and bacterial buildup, which can lead to increased ear infections. It's essential to note that this service may cause the skin to open; think of it as a waxing service. Due to this, the risk of infection is increased for a short time, but it can be easily mitigated by keeping the ears clean. While we take utmost care during this process, we want to remind you that any potential infection that may occur after the service is not something for which we assume liability. Regular at-home ear cleaning, grooming, and ear plucking leads to healthier ears that heal quickly and are less prone to complications from plucking.

Dogs who shed will always shed. Although we can perform a de-shedding process, this will only remove hair that is ready to be shed at that time. Shedding is a genetic trait inherent to the breed, and it cannot be altered. At Le Pawsh, health and safety are always our top priority. Thus, we will never shave down any double-coated dog. Their coats act as barriers, protecting against external elements. Shaving double-coated dogs can cause alopecia, disrupt temperature regulation, disrupt the microbiome, and expose them to health complications.
