Le Pawsh is a one-of-a-kind experience drawing in pet parents from as far as Carmel-by-the-Sea, Half Moon Bay, Vacaville and Sacramento. Whether you’re looking to pass the time during your pup’s spa day treatment, or perhaps looking for something to do afterward to show off their new, regal cut, we have you covered! Ohlone Village has plenty to offer so treat yourself, which is only fair since you’ve treated your little pup with us!   • Hot pizza and a cold beer. Need we say more? They are a family-owned restaurant, offering 32 beers on tap, sandwiches, calzones, and creative pizzas. They often have live music and plenty of seating. Our favorite is the ‘Andromeda Skye’s Galaxy’ pizza!

  • How about a margarita to pair with a stuffed burrito? They are a family-owned Mexican restaurant and have all the favorites on their menu, along with mixed drinks.

  • Who doesn’t love a fresh donut? Made fresh every day, this is Le Pawsh’s go-to spot when needing a box of delicious pastries!

  • If you’re headed into Fremont, stop at this rustic coffee shop and treat yourself to life’s elixir: coffee! They offer fresh eats and a variety of beers on tap. Outdoor seating is available in the back.

  •  Your pup is getting their hair done, why not you as well? Directly next door to us, you can get your hair cut and colored so you and your pup can both look amazing. They also offer waxing and facial services, so take advantage whilst you’re there. They are by appointment only so be sure to book online.

  • Next on your list of things to do should be to treat your nails, and there’s just the place, right next door! They also offer manicures, pedicures, artistic nail services, and waxing services. Walk-ins are welcome or feel free to book online.

  • Offering 24/7 emergency veterinary care, Beacon is trusted by Le Pawsh for emergency pet care. Located in the back of Ohlone Village, they specialize in internal medicine, surgery, and neurology/neurosurgery. Though a visit to them is usually out of necessity and accompanied by stress, you can rest assured that they will take the best care of your pup.

  • Specializing in eye care for your pet, they can catch and help prevent all forms of eye diseases. They perform everything eye-related, from surgeries to annual eye wellness exams. Old age brings the potential for more health issues for your pet, so stay on top of their well-being, including their eyes.

Other Activities

  • Conquer Fremont’s towering mountain and take a photo at the top, which overlooks the entire Bay and all of Fremont. This is a certified hike so plan around 2-3 hours for hiking enthusiasts, and ~4 for the more casual hikers. It is best to start early in the day, or when it’s not the peak of summer as it gets pretty hot. Parking can be found on the right side of Ohlone College towards the top of the hill, in the parking garage. There is usually a $4 fee for parking, but you leave the garage and the trailhead is a 2-minute walk away. Bring plenty of water and show us your photo at the top!

  • Make a right out of Ohlone Village, onto Washington Blvd, and an immediate left onto Paseo Padre Pkwy, and you’ll end up at Fremont’s lake. At a 2-mile circumference, it is a nice and relaxing walk filled with ducks and geese all around. Bring your pup along to show off their fresh look!
