Conquer Fremont’s towering mountain and take a photo at the top, which overlooks the entire Bay and all of Fremont. This is a certified hike so plan around 2-3 hours for hiking enthusiasts, and ~4 for the more casual hikers. It is best to start early in the day, or when it’s not the peak of summer as it gets pretty hot. Parking can be found on the right side of Ohlone College towards the top of the hill, in the parking garage. There is usually a $4 fee for parking, but you leave the garage and the trailhead is a 2-minute walk away. Bring plenty of water and show us your photo at the top!
-
Make a right out of Ohlone Village, onto Washington Blvd, and an immediate left onto Paseo Padre Pkwy, and you’ll end up at Fremont’s lake. At a 2-mile circumference, it is a nice and relaxing walk filled with ducks and geese all around. Bring your pup along to show off their fresh look!
