We have tried out quite a few of the fresher food options on the market and our go to choice that we cannot recommend enough is We Feed Raw. Like a lot of fresh food companies, they are a subscription model that delivers directly to your door. Just fill out the profile creator for your pup and they will craft a meal plan that best suites them based on breed, activity level, age, etc. They have different recipes to choose from and you can mix different meats in your order - chicken, beef, venison, lamb, turkey, and duck.

You may be thinking “isn’t raw food dangerous?'“

Answer: Nope

Some vets may not recommend a raw diet, and may even advise against it. Just remember that dogs evolved from the wolf. Wolves did/do not hunt kibble. Nor did they ever live strictly off of cooked food. We believe that raw is the most biologically appropriate and healthiest diet that you can feed. The stomach of a dog is highly acidic and they absorb more nutrients from a fresh diet than from non-fresh. Theodora thrives on raw. And so do a handful of our clients!

Every pet parent’s worst nightmare: their dog getting lost. There are a lot of tracking services out there, but the one that we recommend is the Fi Collar. We notice a lot of pet parents using Apple AirTags, however, we have had a fair amount of loose AirTags left behind at the salon. Not only are the owners not notified, but our phones don’t register it as well.
